Teens Program
Teens from age 13 - 18 will meet Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1 pm - 4:30 and will participate in a variety of activities. They will harvest a spruce tree turning it into the spar and oars for a Banks Dory. They will refit the Dory with center board, spar and rudder. On Wednesdays, they will participate in joint activities with the Islesford Sailing Program teens including sailing, a picnic to another island, rowing races, a navigation class and more. The program starts July 6th and runs through August 19th with the Gala on August 21st.

Session #4,6,8,10, 12 – Build / Refit:Spars, Rudder, Oars, Thwarts, C/B Well
Session #5, 7, 9, 11– Sailing, Nautical and Seamanship
Session #13 – LCYC Joint Picnic
Session #14 – GALA Preparation
Tuition is $90.00/wk payable in advance.
Transportation from Northeast Harbor & Southwest Harbor will be available.
