We endeavor to make our programs accessible to all members of our community regardless of financial considerations. Our ability to offer educational opportunities to all interested children is largely dependent upon your donations. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have donated and supported us thus far. We would never have made it into our third year without your help. Thank you.

Our dear friend Ashley Bryan has donated his beautiful print "Bobby Shafto's Gone to Sea" to Islesford Boatworks. He has completed a limited edition printing solely for Islesford Boatworks, and all donations of $500 or more will receive a framed and matted copy of this breathtaking print. Please click the print to donate $500 or more.
All donations of $50 or more receive an

Donate Tools and Books
Islesford Boatworks is collecting books and magazines to expand our Maritime and Woodworking Library. This library is open to the public and will contribute to IB's mission and the continued development of the Cranberry Isles community.
Islesford Boatworks is constantly building up its tool collection, and is currently in need of mostly hand tools and clamps. We greatly appreciate any donation and will provide all tax-deductible forms necessary.
Please
contact us for more information.
Donate Time
To all of those who have given their time, Thank You! We would not be anywhere close to where we are today without the considerable amounts of volunteer time, effort and support that you have given us. To those of you who would like to continue or start volunteering, we would greatly appreciate your help. During the summer program we seek and depend on support during class, as well as during our preparation hours for a timely and successful program. For anyone with fundraising and grant-writing skills, we would love your help, or advice. Please
contact us if you are interested.

Boat Raffle
Win Our Boat: Buy a ticket
At the end of the summer program the boat is traditionally auctioned off at our Fundraising Gala to which all members of the Islesford and the surrounding communities are invited. This is a major fund-raising event where we find a new home for the boat that the kids have put so many hours of hard work and learning into. For the 2008 summer program, however, we've decided to raffle off the boat so that all members of the community, young and older, may have a chance of owning our beautiful boat. We will still hold our end of the year Fundraising Gala, at which time we will draw the winning ticket. Keep checking the website for our progress on the boat and for announcements regarding the launching and auction.
Buy your ticket today. Win the boat!
We are currently searching for an appropriate boat to build next summer. Ideas range from a kayak or canoe to a rowing skiff. We are searching high and low for a design that will be an efficient teaching tool, will fit our time constraints and will become a beautiful boat. Rest assured that it will be a boat you are proud to own and buy a ticket today.
